Rendezvous follow-up

We had five people at last night's Rendezvous. We are going to have to do more in the way of publicity if we wish for these meetings to continue. I think that many more people would attend if only they knew about these meetings.

I think all who viewed The God Who Wasn't There last night enjoyed the documentary. I would recommend it for the freethinker's library. It can be purchased for $25 by going to www.thegodmovie.com.

If anyone has any ideas for the August Rendezvous, please post them.

Tonight's meeting

We meet tonight at Zarrow Library starting at 7pm. There will be plenty of time for everyone to express his or her concerns. Once everyone has had their say, we will choose some selections to view from the DVD "The God Who Wasn't There." The library closes at 9pm; so the meeting will run no later than that.

Sat., July 9, 9am, Secular Singers at Zarrow Library. Join Bea, Randy, and Dan to sing freethought and other songs. If you play an instrument, bring it with you.

Sun., July 10, 2pm, Humanist Study Group at Border’s, 81st & Yale. Marilyn Clarke will speak on the Shakespeare authorship question.

Sun., July 17, 2pm, HAT Monthly Membership Meeting at the Genealogy Center, 2901 S. Harvard. Program to be announced later.

Tues., July 19, 7pm, Tulsa Atheist Rendezvous (formerly Atheists Meetup) at Zarrow Library, 2224 W. 51st St. DVD presentation: The God Who Wasn’t There.
