Mid-Month Social, 10-15-08

There were seven people at the Mid-Month Social last night: Bob and Susan, Karl and Sonia, Bob Hooper, David Harrington, and myself. We all sat in a cozy circular booth, off to one end of the restaurant. We talked about the current state of affairs in TAM, including the transfer of funds from Kenny to myself (on Oct. 12), the opening of a free small business checking account at Bank of Oklahoma (on Oct. 13), and plans for stricter accounting of money. In the future all donors will receive a receipt for donations. Records will be kept of all money received and all expenditures.

We lamented the fact that our message board has been used by “trolls,” and Bob asked me to check with Meetup.com to see if anything can be done to gain tighter control over the message board.
